Premium Ceramic Veneers

E-Max veneers represent the gold standard in cosmetic dentistry. Made from lithium disilicate, an advanced glass-ceramic material, they offer the perfect combination of strength, durability, and natural aesthetics. The material’s unique light-reflecting properties closely replicate natural tooth enamel, creating results that are virtually indistinguishable from your own teeth.

One of the key advantages of E-Max veneers is their exceptional thinness. Because the material is so strong, veneers can be made thinner than traditional porcelain, meaning less of your natural tooth structure needs to be removed during preparation. This more conservative approach helps preserve the long-term health of your teeth while still achieving dramatic cosmetic improvements.

Treatment typically requires two to three appointments. We begin with a consultation to discuss your goals and design your new smile. At the preparation appointment, we gently reshape your teeth and take precise impressions or digital scans, which are sent to our laboratory where skilled technicians craft your custom veneers. You’ll wear temporary veneers while your E-Max restorations are being made. At your final appointment, we bond your new veneers in place using advanced dental adhesives.

E-Max veneers are highly resistant to chipping, cracking, and staining. With proper care, they typically last 10 to 15 years or longer, making them an excellent long-term investment in your smile. They’re ideal for correcting discolouration, chips, gaps, minor misalignment, or worn and uneven teeth.

E-Max veneers at Smile London start from £850 per tooth. The final cost depends on the number of veneers required and complexity of your case. We provide a fixed-price quote following your consultation, with flexible payment plans available.

Why choose us?

Natural Translucency and Aesthetics

E-Max lithium disilicate mimics the way natural enamel reflects and transmits light. This creates a lifelike appearance that blends seamlessly with surrounding teeth, avoiding the opaque, artificial look that can occur with lesser materials. Your veneers will look like your own teeth, only perfected.

Strength Without Bulk

E-Max is significantly stronger than traditional porcelain, allowing us to create thinner veneers that require less enamel removal. This preserves more of your natural tooth structure while still providing excellent durability and resistance to everyday wear.

Long-Lasting Investment

With proper care, E-Max veneers typically last 10 to 15 years or more. Their superior resistance to staining, chipping, and cracking means your smile stays beautiful for years with minimal maintenance beyond normal oral hygiene.

FAQs

E-Max veneers are made from lithium disilicate ceramic and crafted in a dental laboratory, while composite veneers use resin applied directly to your teeth. E-Max offers superior aesthetics with natural translucency, greater durability, better stain resistance, and a longer lifespan of 10 to 15 years compared to five to seven years for composite. However, composite veneers are more affordable and can be completed in a single visit.

With proper care, E-Max veneers typically last 10 to 15 years, with many lasting even longer. Their longevity depends on your oral hygiene habits, whether you grind your teeth, and how well you avoid habits that could damage them. Regular dental check-ups help ensure any issues are caught early.

E-Max veneers are highly resistant to staining, far more so than composite alternatives. The dense ceramic surface doesn’t absorb pigments from coffee, tea, red wine, or other staining substances the way natural enamel or composite resin can. However, the bonding cement at the edges can potentially stain over time, so good oral hygiene remains important.

The procedure is not painful. We use local anaesthetic during the preparation appointment when your teeth are being reshaped. Some patients experience mild sensitivity for a few days after the temporary veneers are placed and again after the final veneers are bonded, but this typically subsides quickly.

This depends on your goals and how many teeth show when you smile. Many patients choose six to eight veneers on the upper arch to cover the most visible teeth. Some opt for ten to twelve for a more comprehensive transformation, or combine upper and lower arches. We’ll discuss the best approach for your specific smile during your consultation.
